Moisture / Water Damage Surveys & Reports
What’s Involved
Our Moisture & Water Damage Surveys
Our moisture and water damage surveys are professional inspections carried out to assess the extent of damage caused by water ingress. These surveys are usually conducted once a leak has been identified and repaired, although we can also assist when the source is still under investigation. The purpose is to determine where moisture remains, what damage it has caused, and how it may affect the building and its occupants.
Following the inspection, we provide a clear report detailing the affected areas, supported by photographs, moisture readings, and other relevant findings. This information forms the basis for a strip-out and drying schedule, and helps guide any necessary repairs. Our surveys are often used for insurance claims, property management, and to ensure the building is safe, dry, and ready for reinstatement.

Benefits of Our Water Damage Survey
A Thorough Inspection with Clear, Actionable Results
Our Water Damage Surveys are carried out by qualified BDMA or Tech.DEW water damage technicians and are designed to give you a clear picture of the damage caused by leaks, flooding, or moisture ingress. The survey results support effective drying, repair planning, and insurance claims.
Hidden Moisture Detection
We identify moisture that may have spread to areas that appear dry, helping prevent overlooked damage and future complications.
Triage & Stabilisation Assessment
Surveys can highlight whether urgent stabilisation is needed to prevent secondary damage and provide a clear basis for mitigation planning.
Loss Category Identification
We assess the category of water loss, offering key insights for insurance claims and accurate documentation of the damage caused.
Air Quality & Contaminant Check
Our technicians assess whether hazardous airborne contaminants are present, helping ensure occupant safety.
Interactive Survey Report
You’ll receive an interactive PDF with photos, videos, and 360° panoramic images that clearly document the condition of the property.
Supports Accurate Restoration Quotes
Our report helps reduce cost variations and ensures contractors don’t under- or over-estimate the work required.
